Quietus is the god of ruin, and the harbinger of its inevitable doom. He is also the deity of silence, darkness, vacuums, and the shadowfell.
The god of ruin is a Neutral deity, one not allowed into the Major Circle, Primal Deity nonetheless. It is often said that Quietus is the only force or deity that all other deities fear, as he is fated to eventually bring doom upon them all (and the whole world, too), in an event named The Quieting, aka, the end of the world and planes.
It is a common discussion amongst theologists in Janloon on whether Quietus is truly a Neutral god, or an Evil one, and there has not yet been any consensus, some arguing that they are simply a force of existing, and others say that their destructive nature is what makes and fuels all evils. He is also the sibling of Oculon, Deity of Knowledge.
He is often seen or depicted as the absence of material, a silhouette of voidy blackness.

Worship for Quietus is rare at best, and he is probably one of the least worshipped deities. Although considered a Neutral deity himself, the worshippers tend to be evil, wishing revenge and/or the end of the world. A fervent fanaticism towards the end of everything is common amongst the worshippers of Quietus. Being also the deity of loneliness, worship is a dark and lonely path, one which eventually ends in one's end and disappearance. His holy symbol is a jet black circle or sphere.
